Hello, I'm Ayberk Korkmaz – An Engineer in Pursuit of Frequencies
A short blog post explaining who I am.
AYBERK BLOG
Greetings, and thank you for visiting my blog!
I'm Ayberk Korkmaz, an Electrical and Electronics Engineer, a licensed amateur radio operator (callsign: TB7AEK), and an FM radio station owner.
On this page, I’ll be sharing my interests, technical experiences, personal projects, and stories from my journey through the fascinating world of frequencies and communication technologies.
Who Am I?
My passion for engineering began in childhood, tinkering with broken electronic devices at home. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a deep interest in signal processing, RF systems, and broadcasting technologies.
As a licensed amateur radio operator, I’m active across multiple bands from HF to UHF. I enjoy experimenting with digital modes, building and optimizing antenna systems, and diving deep into the technical aspects of radio communications.
Alongside this, I operate my own FM radio station, where I work hands-on with professional broadcast equipment to ensure high-quality, reliable audio transmission.
What Will You Find Here?
This blog will include:
Amateur radio insights: Technical tips, equipment reviews, and antenna setups
Broadcast technology topics: Transmitter systems, STL links, and audio processing solutions
Engineering-based projects: RF circuit design, SDR experiments, and measurement techniques
Personal notes: Field reports, emergency communication scenarios, and thoughts on modern technologies
Why Blog?
Because knowledge grows when it's shared. This blog is my way of documenting what I’ve learned while also giving back to the communities that helped me along the way.
Whether you’re a fellow radio enthusiast, an engineer, or simply someone who’s curious about wireless communication, you’re likely to find something here that resonates with you.
Stay tuned and see you on the airwaves!
